Yes, The Sentral Mint is the first mint in Malaysia to get accreditation from SIRIM QAS, Malaysia’s leading certification body, as well as NMIM, the National Metrology Institute of Malaysia, adhering to stringent levels of authenticity and certification. This certification is based on the MS 1247:2005 standard, thereby complying with the standards set by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).

Each Collection comes with its own Certificate of Authenticity which lists the unique individual coin serial numbers and which are engraved on the edge of each coin, together with the SIRIM Hallmark.

Each coin is also individually packaged in a tamper-proof Coincard from Certiline, thereby fully securing chain of custody once it leaves the Sentral Mint and until it arrives at your delivery address.

All our gold is sourced globally and ethically in partnership with our minting partners, The Sentral Mint, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from the World’s leading suppliers, including PAMP (Produits Artistiques Métaux Précieux), Metalor and PX PRECINOX and, as such, is supervised by sworn accredited and independent assayers, with metal content and weight guaranteed.

FICA stands for the ‘FINANCIAL INTELLIGENCE CENTRE ACT’.  With South Africa having been placed on the “Grey-List” by the United Nations’ Financial Action Task Team on 24 February 2023, the South African FINANCIAL INTELLIGENCE CENTRE has amended its anti-corruption, anti-money laundering and anti-terrorism laws, whereby we are legally obliged to ensure that all our customers complete a brief and simple FICA questionnaire, which we will assist with at the relevant time. Please note: No orders can be finalised or transactions processed until such time as this has been done. In terms of the provisions contained in the POPIA 2013, and in line with our Privacy Policy, this will not be shared with third parties unless so indicated or unless it is necessary to give effect to your transaction and then only with other professionals involved in the transaction.

Yes, you can sell your Collection at any time you desire. We do not, however, offer a sales or buy-back service.

It is our recommendation that our Collections be presented as gifts and that they are then held by the recipient for a longer period of time, rather than being sold, ideally serving as heirlooms and being handed down to family members so as to create value in legacy. Should a decision be taken to sell them, for whatever reason, it should be noted that we do not guarantee a growth rate. We do, however, point out that, given the exclusive limited release of our Collections, this could well translate into increased value in the future.

It’s best not to handle your coins, unless you are wearing cotton, lint-free gloves (these are supplied when you purchase your Collection)

• Always place your coins on a clean towel or cloth on a flat surface.
• Always pick up your coins with your finger and thumb around the edge, without touching the surfaces of the coin.
• There is no need to clean your coins, in fact, you shouldn’t.
• Keep your coins in the airtight containers supplied, away from silver or any tarnished metal.

Yes, you can pay with various crypto, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Dogecoin and Solana. 

We use BitPay to process all Bitcoin orders and will advise you further when you order. You will be provided with an online Bitpay option, where you can review the accepted wallets and payment protocol utilized by BitPay. 

You will be required to verify your identity. This one-time verification helps reduce payment risk for both you and BitPay merchants.

Pse note that payments in crypto currency will require that a higher level of FICA information be supplied. We will advise of this at the time of ordering.

Gold Krugerrands, gold Natura coins and gold Protea coins are deemed to be legal tender and are therefore exempt from VAT.

As the buyer, your order and price will be locked for a period of time, once you have decided to make your purchase and you complete your order. Depending on how long you take to do this, the price of the product may change in line with fluctuations in the precious metal price, as well as the dollar/rand exchange rate (if paying in ZAR).  It is therefore advisable to complete your order and make payment soonest the price is finally agreed at that time.

Once you have placed an order,  you have entered into a binding agreement and your transaction will be confirmed via email.  

PKC reserves the right to refuse an order when the confirmed price is incorrect for any reason. Furthermore, we reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order deemed questionable, suspicious or of significant risk to PKC regardless of payment method and price confirmation.

Yes, freight costs will be calculated once you have finalised your order, as well as any paygate transaction fees. These will be confirmed with you when you order.

A mintmark is the small mark imprinted onto our coins on the obverse face to identify that these are produced by The Sentral Mint.

Proof coins (‘proofs’) are coins that are specially struck (and, in our instance, struck 4 times) so as to present a very shiny, mirror-like coin, also having certain frosted elements as part of the highly-crafted design and also towards ensuring extra sharp detail.

Proof coins need to be handled with great care so as to avoid damage and towards ensuring preservation of quality and value. It is for this reason that each of our Collections includes a set of white cotton gloves, in the instance that the coins are handled by yourself. It is however recommended that your coins remain in their protective capsules as supplied.

Yes, all personal information is transmitted using secure SSL web pages. These pages are encrypted to ensure that no personal financial or identifiable information is made available to anyone other than you, your bank, or the processor.

Place Your order – We currently have 2 Collections available for sale, viz. The Faith Collection and Sacred Sanctuaries. Please click on the ‘Enquire Now’ button on each of the product pages and complete the short form. We will then revert back to you immediately and discuss your requirements and the ordering process. 

Payment approvals – We process all payments through our gateway partners Payfast, Paypal and Bitpay. If you have paid with Credit Card or Debit Card , or Paypal and crypto, then this step is complete for you. If you elect to pay with EFT, then you will be required to please email through the proof of payment to accelerate the ordering process. Your order will ONLY be confirmed once the payment reflects in our bank, following which we will email you a confirmation of order.

When paying by EFT, you will have 60 minutes in which to provide a proof of payment before the order expires. You’ll need to send your proof of payment through to info@purekaratcreations.com to confirm your order. Once the payment has cleared, your delivery date will be confirmed with you. Should you fail to provide proof of payment within 60 minutes, your order will be cancelled and you will be required to re-order. 

Prices quoted will include VAT, but exclude courier or delivery costs (unless otherwise stated). Please note VAT will be indicated as part of the pricing when the price is finalised on order.

Dispatch – Please note that, because our Collections are only currently available on a pre-order basis, your purchase will ideally arrive within 30 days of confirmation of order. Should there be a longer delay, you will be advised via email accordingly.

When your order is ready to be dispatched, an email will be sent to you with the courier company details and waybill number. Please feel free to call the courier company or ourselves to track your parcel.

Once an order is placed on our website, you have entered into a legally binding agreement and your order cannot be modified.

All South African orders will ship from our vault in Cape Town. All other orders will ship direct from the Sentral Mint in Kuala Lumpur. We mask our return address on all packages so as to not give away the contents of the package.

Yes, your package will always require a signature for delivery. Please note, per our Terms and Conditions, once a package shows as ‘delivered’, our responsibility ends. Please be available and attentive to receive the package when the courier arrives.
